Healthy and Delicious English Muffin Recipe

English muffins are small, flat and round bread which is commonly sliced horizontally and are toasted and buttered. 

Recipe of english muffins is easy if you follow a few basic tips:

Make sure to mix the dry ingredients separately from the wet, and then blend them at the end of blending.

Adjust oven rack to the center place to bake muffins. Utilize paper muffin cups if you desire, baking soda, or lightly oil the pan using a pastry brush to get into the corners.

At least one of these methods will make it effortless to remove the baked muffins. If you are a nut lover, you can add nuts. Also, you can add peanut butter, butterscotch or chocolate chips.

Banana Raisin Muffins

Banana raisin muffins are yummy for breakfast, snacks or lunches.


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix cereal and milk in a large bowl. Wait for 3 minutes. Add egg and oil. Mix well. Add banana and raisins.

In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix dry ingredients to wet mixture, until just blended. Do not over blend.

Bake until lightly browned, about 30 minutes. Make approximately 12 standard size muffins.

Make extra muffins for gifts, office parties or cookouts. They are convenient for buffet or potluck dinners, also.
